This piece was for a project in my Typography II class. We were tasked to pick four letters and four numbers and then combine them to emphasis negative space. We were challenged to make interesting shapes with the forms while keeping the letters and numbers identifiable. For my process, I started by hand, drawing and tracing the letters and numbers onto each other so that I could get a better understanding of how they interacted with each other.
